Marisa Constantinides is the Director of Studies of CELT Athens and is responsible for the design and implementation of all the programmes offered by CELT.Marisa trained as a classical singer but at some point, like many of us, "fell into" teaching. She has attended numerous workshops and teacher development courses but my main qualifications are the RSA Diploma in TEFLA (DTEFLA) and an M.A. in Applied Linguistics from the University of Reading in the UK. Her involvement in Teacher Development Programmes started at the Hellenic American Union where she ran workshops for colleagues and State School Teachers, then with Longman Publications running numerous training seminars for them all over Greece. From 1982 to 1989, she trained teachers for Mrs.Gina Pagoulatou-Vlachou's school. During that period she also collaborated with the PALSO Federation, designing and running the first series of organised courses for language schools owners and their teachers in Greece. From 1989-1993 she ran CELT with partners, training teachers and teaching adults on general and ESP courses, and as of September 1993, Marisa has been running CELT Athens on her own, mostly training teachers of English and supporting Diploma in Translation candidates. Marisa Constantinides has written materials for children (Basic Grammar Workbooks 1, 2, & 3 published by English Schoolbook Publications ), activity books for Cambridge Exams set texts, and numerous articles on Language, Foreign Language Teaching and Education.
Olha Madylus began her teaching career in a secondary state school in the UK teaching English and Drama. She has a Masters degree in ELT and has been involved in YLELT* for over 20 years, living, teaching and training in Hong Kong, Venezuela and Greece with the British Council in Thessaloniki where she served as Deputy DIrector. For the past six years she has been a freelance YL consultant and teacher trainer and is involved in the training of local state and private language school teachers in countries as diverse as Peru, Qatar and Taiwan. She also does consultation and teacher training for the British Council global teaching network. She is a Cambridge ESOL CELTA and CELTYL trainer.
She is now (happily) based in Athens and as well as working with
CELT, she does teacher training on behalf of Cambridge University
Press as well as writing a book for them. Olha
is a tutor on the CELTA, CTEFL, CTEYL, TEYL as well as the DELTA

Sunny A Angeles came to CELT to obtain her RSA DTEFLA Diploma in 1989 - she was one of our very first trainee teachers attending that course. After completing her Diploma with Distinction in the Practical, she went on to further her studies by obtaining two more Masters qualifications. Meanwhile, she started working as a tutor for CELT, first on the Language Awareness for Teachers course, later on the Certificate in TEFL and, finally on the RSA DOTE/DTEFLA, and more recently, the Cambridge DELTA. Sunny is an approved DELTA Course tutor but she also works as a tutor on the Open University as an Associate Lecturer on the MA in Applied Linguistics, and as a tutor on the IH Distance DELTA. Sunny examines for Cambridge regularly and is an IELTS assessor as well. Today she trains teachers on the DELTA course at CELT as well as on the English for Teachers course.
